Video Game Art

An article in USA Today identified video game concept art as slowly becoming a legitimate form of art.

The "Into the Pixel" Exhibit at this year's E3 was aimed at highlighting how video game concept art could be hailed as literal works of art.

USA Today has a page of some of the submissions from the exhibit which you can view from following this link.

However, I have seen other concept art that are more artistically inclined than some of these submissions. The God of War, Assassin's Creed, Devil May Cry, and Final Fantasy series' each have beautiful concept art as well.

This is one step closer to identifying video games as an art form.
